BCI Joists are approximately ½ the weight of dimension lumber and 1/3 the weight of wood trusses. This saves time and money spent on labor and makes framing faster and easier.

BCI Joist do not require bridging because it is a manufactured product. The code accounts for the elimination of "Mother Natures" defects. This saves on material and labor cost.

BCI Joist can be trimmed in the field with regular carpenter tools at the jobsite.
